Mary wrote that the current definition of epicsTypes
does not include unsigned types because of Java.
I'm told that a Java 'char' is a 16 bit _unsigned_.
I'm unclear if the idea of adding Java to smaller, embedded devices
will soon bring more unsigned support because that's
what many hardware registers require.
