I'm attaching a tar that contains an excerpt of the code that I was
using to do my dataAccess performance tests for the ICALEPCS 2001 paper.
Note that this is code from 2001, so it is for the April 2001 version
of dataAccess and has to be adapted for the current version to compile
and work.
Is this the kind of example code that you are looking for?
This of course is pure dataAccess - I don't have anything working for
the new CA client interface - this was not existing in 2001.
No this is not what I want.
Since Jeff has provided a working version of the V4 CA interface, it
should be possible to provide an example of a CA client that connects to
a pv and receives the following
double array of values.
displayLimits
Show the code for creating the propertyCatalog and for connecting and
sending a request to read data.
