Base Release 3.15

This is the development release series. The main enhancements that have been implemented in 3.15 are:

• Server-side filtering of CA channel data
• Process-get operations, i.e. Async Soft Channel input device support that process the linked record and wait for processing to complete before fetching the result through the link
• Improved attribute meta-data for non-VAL fields
• Lots more that I can't recall right now...

Platforms Supported

The following host platforms are supported in the latest release above:

• Solaris on sparc or x86, using Sun's compiler or GCC
• WIN32 on x86 using MSVC++, Cygwin, or MinGW
• GNU/Linux on x86, x86_64, PowerPC or ARM
• MacOS X (Darwin) on x86 or PowerPC

These IOC target platforms are currently supported:

• vxWorks 5.5.x (Tornado 2.2.x) on any CPU previously supported.

• RTEMS on any supported CPU [MC68040 (MVME167), MC68360, x86, PowerPC, uC5282].
