JCA2 is a completly new implementation of the Channel Access client library for java.
It has been designed to take advantage of the new CA 3.14 features.
- multi-threaded
- preemptive callbacks.
- independant connection circuits (contexts)
etc...


This release fixes some critical bugs. Please read the release notes for more details.

To build JCA2.0.1 from sources (zip or tgz), you need to have configured and built EPICS 3.14.4.

To use the binaries distributions, you need to have configured and built EPICS 3.14.x
