X-Ray Flourescent Filter Set

The filer set consists of large-area filters with uniform thickness. Each filter is mounted in an Aluminum frame, 10 cm x 10 cm.

X-Ray 3d and 4d/5d Metal Foil Sets

The foil sets are comprised of a series of ultra-thin 3d, 4d and 5d metal foils as standards for EXAFS and XANES measurement. Each 3d foil is approximately 5 microns thick (to give approximately 1.5 absorption lengths above the K-edge) and is mounted in individual electroplated Aluminum frames, 2.6 cm x 4.6 cm in size. The foil area is approximately 1 cm x 3 cm. The 4d and 5d foils have a greater thickness.

NIST Standard Reference Materials

SRMs 640c, 660a, and 675 consist of materials with select crystallographic and microstructure properties used in the evaluation of diffraction equipment for the following variables:

1. d-spacing or line position
2. line or instrument intensity
3. instrumental or sample contributions to the shape of reflection profiles
