Energy Dispersive Detectors:

Ketek Silicon Drift Diodes

There are six units which are listed in the data base as 5, 7, 10 mm (the active areas, in mm**2). The 7 mm detectors are later models and have high (3000) peak/background ratios. Two of the Ketek's are "Low Energy" models meaning the window is a polymer, not Be.

Radiant Technology Vortex, Vortex-EX

There are two Vortex and three Vortex-EX silicon drift diode detectors. The "-EX" means "extended snout".

Canberra Germanium Detectors

There are three units: 4" snout, 12" snout, and 13 element detector. LN2 filled.

Amptek CdZnTe

There is one unit.

Oxford NaI, YAP Scintillator Plus Photomultiplier

There is one of each unit.

Current Detectors:

Oxford Instruments

We have 4 Oxford Instruments Ion chambers

Area Detectors:

MAR 165 CCD Camera

We have 2 MAR165's, 165 mm diameter phosphor-fiberoptic taper - CCD based detector.

MAR 345 Image Plate

We have 2 MAR345's, 345 mm diameter image plates.

General Electric

We have a General Electric Medical amorphous silicon large area detector.

Photometrics Roper Cool Snap

We have 2 Princeton Instruments/Roper Cool-SnapHQ detectors. Typically used with a Zeiss tube lens, with microscope objectives which image the YAG scintillator onto the CCD.

Electronics:

(Incomplete listing...)

We have Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor extender systems. (typically used with CoolSnap).
