Research Interests
Design and analysis of nano/micro structures; Experimental investigations of material chemistry, structures and stability to quantum mechanical descriptions of bonding and reactions in material sturctures; Response of the structural behavior of various materials (including organic materials) to the pressures and temperatures; Experimental and theoretical investigations of the interplay between magnetic, structural, electronic, semiconducting properties of the materials such as semiconductors and multiferroics; Identifying new structural phases; Correlation dynamics of 3d transition metal compounds using synchrotorn and other techniques under extreme conditions as high pressure, various temperatures and magnetic fields; X-ray physics, development of instrumentation for synchrotron radiation studies.
