Dear Potential Vendor,

We invite you to join us for the 2010 APS Users Meeting, which will be held the week of May 3-7 at Argonne National Laboratory. This year’s meeting theme is  "Celebrating 20 Years of Groundbreaking Discoveries at the APS" in honor of the 20th anniversary of the facility’s groundbreaking, which took place on May 5, 1990.

We’re excited to announce that this year we will be opening the vendor exhibits to all researchers and employees at Argonne for a full day and a half of the meeting! The opportunity for Laboratory staff to come and meet with exhibitors will be widely publicized in “Argonne Today” (a daily electronic newsletter sent to all employees) and via signs place near the Main and West Gates during the meeting. This will be an excellent opportunity to expand your contacts here at Argonne.

Companies can further integrate their participation in the meeting via a variety of sponsorship opportunities that will be announced shortly. Upgrades for vendor ad sizes are also available. Even if you are unable to attend this year, you can still give your company some great visibility by purchasing ad space in the program book or choosing to sponsor a social event, an award, or a student poster prize.

This year's exhibitor fee is $1,200 for two attendees. Banquet tickets may be purchased separately. Exhibitor set-up will be on Sunday, May 2. Exhibit hours will run through Wednesday, May 5. Additional vendor attendees may register to participate in the meeting for a fee of $100 per person per day (this cost includes lunch and other daily activities but excludes the banquet). The on-line exhibitor registration form is available at http://www.aps.anl.gov/Users/Meeting/2010/Exhibitors/Exhibitor_Information.php.

As always, your best chance to secure your first-choice location is to register early! Every person participating the meeting must be registered (either on the exhibitor application or via the APS visitor registration form) in order to attend. Non-U.S. citizens must register well in advance of the meeting to ensure that any necessary clearances are obtained. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have—please contact me at vendor@aps.anl.gov. We hope you will join us for the 2010 APS Users Meeting!

Best regards,

Constance Vanni
Exhibits Coordinator
