Joint APS/CNM Banquet: "Celebrate the Light"

Join us for an exciting evening of "high-tech" festivities as we celebrate the birth of the Center for Nanoscale Materials and the dawn of the second decade of brilliant APS light. CNM Cornerstone Ceremony
Friday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m.

Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman and Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich will place seals in the cornerstone of the new Center for Nanoscale Materials building being constructed adjacent to Sector 26 of the APS. The ceremony will be followed by a tour of Sector 26, the Nanoprobe beamline, which saw first light on March 15, 2005.
