Decommissioning of Beamlines and Removal of CAT-Owned Property

A CAT that is terminated and/or discontinuing operations at the APS will follow the guidelines provided by the APS for safe decommissioning of its beamlines and removal of CAT-owned property, except for property that the CAT elects to donate to Argonne. The timetable for decommissioning will be determined as described in the policy entitled Reviews by the Program Evaluation Board. Any CAT-owned property that is not removed from the APS facility within 30 days after the termination of the User Agreement and/or MOU will become the property of Argonne.
