When You Leave (and After)
This stage takes you from completing your experiment to fulfilling your remaining obligations regarding the visit.
Arrange for Outbound Shipping
The services of Argonne's shipping department are available to users.
Complete an End of Experiment Form
This form provides an opportunity to comment on your visit. General Users are required to complete this form; other users may complete it if they wish. It can be completed at any time after your experiment, either before you leave or after you return home.
Publish Your Results and Notify APS
Unless you have paid for proprietary beam time, your primary obligations after completing your experiment are to (1) publish your results, with suitable acknowledgment of the APS and the beamline, and (2) notify the APS of such publications.
Communicate with APS on Status Changes
Notify the APS of any changes to your affiliation, contact information, visa status, etc., by re-registering through the central registration system. This will alert the User Office to change your user profile in our database.
