When You Arrive
This stage takes you from arriving at the Argonne gate to conducting your experiment.
Arrive at the APS
Once you enter Argonne, if you are a new user, you must go to the User Office for orientation and training. Returning users may go directly to their beamline, where any needed training can be done.
Complete APS Training and Orientation
At the
User Office, you will take the necessary training, verify that we have correct information about you, and sign several forms.
Find Your Beamline Contact
The User Office staff will give you directions to the beamline where you will be working. The beamline staff and APS floor coordinator will complete the orientation process and authorize you to begin your experiment.
