Connecting to a VME-Crate from “Scooter” through the “Serial Console Port Manager (SCPM)”

Red            indicates computer system response

Blue            indicates user keyboard input

Black            indicates comments.

 

Initiating the Serial Connection from Scooter

-         simultaneously press “SET” and “CLEAR” on the SCPM front panel

-         release “CLEAR”, wait for prot LEDs to flash, release “SET”
