Each hutch door has a Door Control Box that is used to open and shut the door.
To open the door:
When a hutch door is shut, the Door Control Box shows two green lights that
indicate that the door is closed and magnetically locked. If no experimentation
is taking place, the door can be opened by pressing the red button labeled "Open." The
door will then automatically open.
To shut the door:
When a hutch door is open, the Door Control Box shows two red lights that indicate
that the door is open and magnetically unlocked. To shut the door, press
and hold down the green button labeled "Close." Releasing the button
will cause the door to stop and open again, so the button must be held down
in order to close the door. Should anything get in the way of the door as
it closes, simply release the green button and the door will re-open. |
