It is APS policy to require users not to wear shorts and open toe shoes when they do work on the experimental floor or the labs. People also felt it should be extended to skirts and dresses that uncover the legs. The latter is not spelled out in the policies but makes sense. This policy is for safety to prevent avoidable cuts and we need to remind our users and staff members to follow it. I found one of user today wearing shorts. He works for S7... Let us be good.
