New PSS DI-Water Pressure Sensors in 7ID-A and 7ID-B

The DI-Water pressure sensors for the PSS system were taken out of the white beam hutches to reduce the radiation damage during the Jan. 04 shutdown. The pictures below show what was done by the PSS group. ED 1-19-04

• The old sensors removed from inside the hutch.


• New 1/8" water line connected to sensors connected outside.


• Sector 6 beamline (top) and PSS (bottom) Di-Water Pressure Sensors.


• Sector 7 PSS Di-Water Pressure sensor cabinet on top of mezzanine.


• Sector 7 ID-A roof, showing the 1/8" SS lines going inside a labyrinth.
