In June, our 7ID-A beamline monochromator stopped scanning smoothly. We were
not able to fix the problem and will have to remedy it in the September
shutdown. PUP-37 was affected by this problem, and some of the experimental
program had to be modified. Eric Landahl's experiment (GUP-4171) could not be
scheduled due to this beamline problem.
