Operations, Mark Beno
Beno announced that it had been another good week. There were 2 beam drops early, each resulting in down time of less than 2 hours. There was a problem at 6 ID, lasting 6 hours, that was caused by a faulty solenoid. The Mean Time Between Faults was 133.29 hours and the Percentage of Scheduled Beamtime was 99.03%.
Safety, Mark Beno
Beno mentioned that he has a list of CAT people who have not kept their training up to date. There will be an HSS assessment of ANL in the spring, and he would like to have a good training record for at least 6 months prior to that.
GUP, Meg Vigliocco-Hagen
Vigliocco-Hagen stated that the proposal deadline for the 2009-1 cycle had just passed. There were 417 new proposals submitted as well as 814 beamtime requests.
