Operations Update, Mark Beno

Problems:

  • Top up, 2 drops, 2 days of no beam.
  • RF coupler booster
  • RF problem
  • P0 timing error

Stats:

  • 95.63% - Scheduled beamtime
  • 106.58 hrs - Meantime between faults

Beam will still go on tomorrow. There will be one day added at the end of August. Talk to D. Keane, T. Graber, or M. Beno for suggestions or comments.

Remote Training, Susan Strasser

Remote training for users is now live. The link is accessible from the APS home page. The available courses are APS 101, ESH100u, GERT, ESH 223, and ESH377. These courses apply for CNM users; however, GERT may not be a requirement.

Notes:

  • Badge number and web password required
  • Only core courses offered
  • Course completion will be documented in TMS within an hour
Emails to new and returning users contain links to APS & CNM proposal systems, ESAF, and Remote Training sites.
