Operations Update, Mark Beno

Storage Ring Problems:

  • Vacuum burst in S40 cavities causes Ion Gauge interlock trip, dumping beam.
  • Real-time Feedback Orbit Correction received a heartbeat error in S5. Multiple correctors went to the current limits of - 150A.
  • Vacuum burst in S40 cavities caused Ion Pump and Ion Gauge interlock trip, dumping beam.

Beamline Problems:

  • S4- Communications with CPU
  • S13 – Shudder problems
  • BLEPS/FEEPS minor fault. (9-BM)

Stats:

  • 99.2% - Beamtime
  • 69.08 – Mean time between faults
