1ID will be fixed and is now in the shop to be welded after which it will be re-certified.

It was discovered that a wrong spare part (FM1) was installed on 1ID to repair a leaking FM1, but was detected by Mohan Ramanathan and APS Vacuum Group before operations. The User will not be able to run until the leaking mask is repaired and re-installed. The plan is to install this over a 40-hr. period during the machine intervention period of Feb 9-11, which will mean canceling most of the studies planned for that time.

A user asked if there was any news on water pressure problems. Roger answered that he had not heard of this. He called on John Noonan to respond. Sector 14 was taken off-line because of fluctuations of water pressure in the fixed mask in the FOE. The fluctuations were due to a malfunctioning three-way valve in the secondary LCW distribution that fed the beamline. The trip also identified a second problem: the EPS no longer has a set point for high pressure, except in this beamline. The short-term mitigation was to raise the pressure set point at 115 psi instead of 105. The three-way valve will be repaired in one of the next several intervention periods and the EPS system will remove the high-pressure set point from the interlock logic.

ESAF and GUP - B. Glagola:   Bruce said that the GUP number is located in the lower left corner if general user proposal information is provided.  There was a question last week about common database, this is being addressed by members of the ALD office.
