Information and Follow-up
Users from 11ID report inability to understand and respond to PA announcement.
C-Y Yao replied that in this case, besides the PA announcement, the MCR crew also informed the on-duty floor coordinator, who should pass the information to the beamline users affected by the reboot.
In the future, if we need to open ID gaps for certain actions, such as reboot of an IOC, the MCR crew will issue a 10-minute advance notice through the PA and Floor Coordinator. If only a few beamlines are affected, the Floor Coordinator will inform the affected users. If a user needs more time to finish an experiment and the machine status allows, the MCR crew will accommodate. After the action, a PA announcement will also be made.
Concerning a question from a previous meeting about power failure / cryopumps, Bill Wesolowski is locating schematics (Oxford). If any Users have problems with the timer, please notify him to get it resolved.

Additional Singlet Days During Summer Run Cycle - R. Klaffky: The addition of six more days of singlet mode has been proposed with consolidation of all singlet days between June 9 and June 21 PUC is being contacted regarding this change.
PV Naming Convention - J. Maclean: The effort to survey the different PV naming conventions used at the APS is well under way. We have had responses from all but two CATS. Thank you to all who responded. If you have not yet responded, we would appreciate your input.
PV names useful to beamlines - Mark Rivers has provided a good starting point with a list of PVs of interest. Gary Gunderson will be working with various APS groups to make sure the names on this list are accurate and to ensure the functions of all are documented. The BCDA group will be responsible for putting this information on its web pages.
