Storage Ring Availability
The storage ring availability over the whole run so far has been 95.5%. The mean time between failures has been 33.8 hours. A few faults occurred consisting of front-end and ACIS trips. During this shutdown, maintenance will take place in upgrading the ID control system. A cat net message will be sent for further details. The next user run will begin in approximately two weeks on Wednesday, August 1 providing one week of low emittance and two weeks of hybrid fill with top-up.
General Information
On Monday, July 16, Secretary of Energy, Spencer Abraham will be visiting Argonne. At this time, we dont believe he will be visiting APS.
