Workshop 3: The Protein Crystallography Technology and Logistics Collaboration

Co-organizers: Malcolm Capel, Stephan Ginell, Lisa Keefe, and John Rose

The Protein Crystallography Technology and Logistics workshop will focus on the technological advances and goals for operations at the APS macromolecular beam lines. Topics that the will be addressed and discussed are:

  • Design of a common Graphical User Interface for users of the macromolecular    beam lines.
  • Improvement of beam stability at the end-station through application of new white beam position sensing techniques.
  • Telepresence and remote data acquisition via network connections.
