The APS experiment hall is the location for this series of events. The reception will be held in the experiment assembly area, which is the starting point for the self-guided APS tour. Each Collaborative Access Team will have a display at its sector. Additionally, posters describing work conducted at that sector will be on display, with a presenter available for questions and discussion.
The Stanley Field Hall and Balcony of Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History will be featured during this year's conference reception and banquet. During the reception, museum staff members will be available to talk about their work and describe the creation of many of the museum's outstanding exhibits. Participants will even be able to see the lions depicted in the recent popular movie The Ghost and the Darkness. Bus transportation will be provided between the APS and the museum, with buses also available to take participants back to the conference hotels and the APS after dinner.
