Twenty Institutions Sign User Agreements
User Agreements are signed by the APS and the home institutions of its users to clarify the legal rights and responsibilities of both parties in connection with the users' activities at the APS. Each user institution must have a User Agreement in place before its personnel begin hands-on work at the APS. To date, the APS has signed User Agreements with 20 institutions from 10 CATs; the signees include industrial firms, national laboratories, private universities, state universities, and foreign institutions.
