Welcome to the new APS web site!
The APS has a new home page for 2008. Here are some of the features and improvements:
- A simpler, refreshed look and feel, with accessible, XHTML-compliant code.
- Integrated Google Search provides faster and better search results.
- New sections for APS Users make it easier for Prospective Users, New Users, and Current Users to find the information they need.
- Science Highlights and APS News have been redesigned, and now offer RSS feeds.
- Events and Announcements are prominently featured on the home page - find out more in APS Today.
- A new, interactive Sectors and Beamlines Map application provides a visual way to find the beamline you're looking for. (Javascript-enabled browser required.)
- Improved dropdown menus, including a new Divisions menu for access to AES, ASD, and XSD sites and groups.
- Beam and Ring status, schedule and other data is now aggregated in one place, and is also listed on the APS home page - updated every five minutes!
