Managing Director of IXS-CDT with responsibility for the day-to-day on-site management of IXS-CDT activities.

Responsibilities include overseeing the project in matters of design, specification, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of the beamlines and experimental facilities. Manages beamline personnel during construction and commissioning, to ensure that the beamlines are designed, built and operated so that they are not a hazard to people or the environment and to ensure that construction schedule maintained and cost objectives are achieved. Submits to the EB, through the Executive Director, construction and staffing plans consistent with the goals and funding of IXS-CDT, provides input on the hiring of beamline personnel (with concurrence of the EB and APS management).
