Beamline 5-BM-D: Sector 5 - Bending Magnet D Branch Beamline
DND-CAT
Materials Science, Polymer Science
Description
The 5-BM-D beamline contains a dedicated extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) setup, as well as a four-circle diffractometer. The rear of the enclosure is available for custom experimental setups, such as 2D diffraction with our detectors. This beamline is particularly well suited for in situ diffraction studies using high-energy x-rays. The high energies available can be used to probe the interiors of macroscopic samples. White beam and focused or unfocused pink beam are also available.
