Description
Beamline 2-ID-D is devoted to sub-micron high-resolution x-ray imaging studies. Most work on the beamline centers on flouresence analysis of biological samples and microdiffraction of a variety of materials.

Beamline Controls and Data Acquisition
The beamline is run with Sun workstations (UNIX/Solaris) using various EPICS-based applications.
