Beamline 31-ID-D: Sector 31 - Insertion Device Beamline

Description

LRL-CAT is dedicated to mail-in macromolecular crystallography. Features of this beamline include high-throughput data collection (>10,000 crystals and >4,000 data sets per year), automatic evaluation of crystal quality, automatic centering based on loops, and automatic removal of surface ice.

  • CATS robotic sample changer (540 crystals, MAR/SPINE mount, manual and loop centroid centering)
