Beamline 7-BM-B: Fluid Dynamics Beamline

Description

The 7-BM beamline is dedicated to time-resolved x-ray radiography, tomography, and fluorescence spectroscopy using a high-intensity microbeam. The major application of the beamline is the study of transient fluid flowfields (for example, high-speed liquid sprays and compressible gas flowfields). However, other types of time-resolved radiography measurements can also be accommodated.

Beamline Controls and Data Acquisition

EPICS beamline controls using Python for scripting and  oscilloscopes for data acquisition.
