Beamline 6-ID-D: Sector 6 - High-energy Branch Beamline
X-ray Science Division, APS
Physics, Materials Science
Description
6-ID-D is a high-energy branch line on sector 6. It runs in parasitic mode using the beam transmitted through the monochromator of the lower energy beamline. It is mainly used for PDF and powder diffraction measurements using a 2-D detector, but is also equipped with a diffractometer for high-energy single-crystal measurements.
