Plots of test case using the parameters of Saldin, et. al., (On
the coherent radiation of an electron bunch moving in an arc of a
circle, NIM A 398 (1997) 373394) showing transition from
transient to steadystate CSR. Note that the dipole is longer than
that used in Saldin, et. al. The graphs show the linear density, its
derivative, and the CSR wake as a function of position in the dipole.

Optimization of FEL performance by adjusting linac phases and positions of two
scrapers in the highdispersion point of the symmetric chicane design.
The FEL computations are imbedded in elegant and are based on the parameterization
of Ming Xie (Free Electron Laser Driven by SLAC Linac).
