APS Accelerator Systems Division
The Accelerator Systems Division (ASD) provides engineering and physics support for the Advanced Photon Source and pursues research and development profitable to the science of accelerators and future light source technologies.
ASD's Accelerator Operations and Physics group develops and maintains sophisticated software and computing clusters for rapid, detailed simulation of accelerators.
