Upgraded Gen1or Gen 3 PSS Trip/Fault Reset
Event: PSS Trip or Fault
The PSS has been fully upgraded at several beamlines now. These beamlines will have “Trips” and “Faults” instead of “Minor,” “Serious,” and “Major” Faults, like typical Generation 1 and Generation 3 PSS’s at every other beamline.
If there is fault, reset it and write a RMD. If the same fault occurs a second time in the same shift, contact the SI on-call staff.
If there is a Trip, reset it up to 3 times per shift and write a RMD. If a fourth trip occurs in the same shift, contact the SI on-call staff.
