ME Group Work
Flow
- Ralph schedules and coordinates all technician work for
the ME Group. It will be his responsibility to make sure the system engineer
is aware of the work
- It will be Ralph’s responsibility to make sure the
technicians are qualified and current on all training
- Ralph along with the system engineer will review and
assess the scope of the work to be done. As well they will determine what
documentation and safety issues need to be addressed
- Ralph will discuss the work with the Chief Techs and
make sure they follow the work request and required procedures
- Ed Theres and Rich Ferry will directly supervise all
technician work in accordance with their assigned area of responsibility
- The chief technicians will be responsible for the
technicians preparedness for each task they are assigned. They will discuss
the work request and procedure if necessary with the technicians doing the
work
- The Chief Techs will be responsible for the technicians
performing the tasks as outlined by the work request and adhering to
procedures and safety requirements
- Ultimately the System Engineer will give final approval
when the job is completed and signoff required documents
Ed Theres’ areas of Responsibility:
- All Front End and Beamline water and mechanical work
(Except Controls and Metering)
- All tunnel mechanical work
- All Mechanical Work not water related
- All Mechanical work requested from outside the group
Rich Ferry’s areas of Responsibility:
- All Secondary Water Systems
- All Mezzanine Mechanical work
- All Beamline water from the Mechanical Mezzanine to the
Hutch
- All Metering and Controls
