Major Responsibilities
Mechanical engineering, R&D, and design in support of new APS initiatives including accelerator upgrades, new ID vacuum chambers, new and upgraded beamlines and front ends, and 4th generation x-ray sources.
Design and fabrication of new components for the accelerator, front ends, and beamlines to improve reliability.
Mechanical engineering support for operations of the accelerator, rf system, front ends, and beamlines.
