New IT Group Phone Number 
The Information Technology group phone number is being changed from 2-9273 to
2-9700 on the morning of Tuesday, February 12th. The new number is easier to
remember since it's the same as Argonne's street address - 9700 South Cass Ave.
The IT group phone number is used for urgent requests or if you do not have

Adobe Connect Web-Conferencing Service Now Available
As seen in recent editions of Argonne Today, the Computing
and Information Systems Division has recently acquired a
Web-conferencing service for general laboratory use.
The product, Adobe Connect, is a platform-independent,
Web-based conferencing service that provides a media-rich,
virtual collaboration environment where laboratory employees
can interact among themselves and with external participants.
This service enables laboratory employees to host virtual meetings with little or no training.
In addition, Adobe Connect enables users to communicate and interact with groups large and small in
real time, using high-impact presentations and essential
collaboration tools, including screen sharing, multiperson
video, and whiteboarding.
