Adobe Connect Web-Conferencing Service Now AvailableAdobe Connect

As seen in recent editions of Argonne Today, the Computing and Information Systems Division has recently acquired a Web-conferencing service for general laboratory use. The product, Adobe Connect, is a platform-independent, Web-based conferencing service that provides a media-rich, virtual collaboration environment where laboratory employees can interact among themselves and with external participants. This service enables laboratory employees to host virtual meetings with little or no training.

In addition, Adobe Connect enables users to communicate and interact with groups large and small in real time, using high-impact presentations and essential collaboration tools, including screen sharing, multiperson video, and whiteboarding.

For more information, including how to request an account, contact the APS IT Group and refer to the AdobeConnect FAQ.
