With the need for better passwords, we are getting several calls asking how to change passwords.

Dial-in passwords are your APS NT domain passwords.
E-mail passwords are changed on the email server via a web page.

Point your browser to Atlas.aps.anl.gov and login using your fully qualified user name (name@aps.anl.gov) and your e-mail password.
Click on Change Password and follow the instructions.

Many system-wide passwords must be changed on the UNIX system. Here's what you need:
If you don't already have it, install Nifty Telnet.
When it's installed, logon to muon or helium and Change Your UNIX Password
