- Scanning:
The ICMS does not directly support scanning documents; it can only accept a pre-existing electronic file. APS has photocopiers that are capable of producing scanned images of paper documents, which can then be loaded into the ICMS. However, such scans will produce images of documents, not editable files. In order to obtain editable files from paper documents, one needs an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program to transform the scanned image into a native text-based format, such as Microsoft Word.If the photocopier in your area is not currently set up as a scanner, please fill out a support request to have it set up. You may also use a desktop scanner.
